5 Days To Go!

And the excitement continues. The wait is too painful, time is slowing down. But, good news! I have decided on my character! Hoorah! ... best not say that again.

So, yes indeed I have finally, for the first time in an Elder Scrolls game, planned out my character. In Oblivion I just improvised, made my guy on the spot.

But for Skyrim, I have an idea of what I want. I say an idea, I have a few and I'm not sure which to choose.

I'm not a beast or elf man, I always like to play as a human. Now I had to decise between a Nord, Breton or an Imperial. I crossed out the Breton for various reasons, and now I'm stuck. Nord vs Imperial...

Well, seeing as the game is set in the land of the Nords, I think I will go with the native.

Now I like long hair and beards (THANK YOU BETHESDA FOR THE BEARDS), so I'll have a homeless looking big guy. I'm probably going for stealth. An archer mainly, but can get into combat with some daggers or shortswords. no two-handers for me.

I'll have more information on my character in the next blog, but for now all I can do is wait... and wait... and wait for this game.

Just five long days to go...

  1. Beards for the win!...err... yeah!
Shame my first character is a female, that doesn't necessarily exclude having a beard, especially for a Nord, but I'll go without one I think. I agree it's great to have beards in though :)

Time sure is going painfully slow...

Looking forward to reading more about your character, will you be roleplaying it ingame?
